The guitar solo from the album track of "My Sharona"
The insane time signature of "The Crunge"
The first time I heard the flute part in "Hocus Pocus"
The opening drums to "Ballroom Blitz"
The fact that John Lennon doesn't actually ask you to DO anything in "Imagine"
Good stuff.

...And the beat goes on.

We all have our little musical special memories...
Please have a KICK-ASS Week-End..G
The beat goes on.....
I'm so old, the only one of these I recognize is "Imagine" ---which is one of my favorites.
My Flash 55 is HERE.
anthony,
I'm mildly embarrassed to admit that I was referring to Peter Schilling's "Major Tom," not Bowie's "Space Oddity." I'm a big Bowie fan, so it chagrins me to admit to liking the '80s knockoff better than the '70s original, but I'm afraid I do.
Anni, Fandango, Jadey, Alice & Dr. John,
Thanks for stopping by and encouraging me! I hope you all have a most excellent weekend.
G-Man,
The beat surely does go on! I will do my best to absorb all the goodness the world sends me this weekend.
CJ,
Age is no excuse! "Hocus Pocus" came out the same year as "Imagine" -- it's just very slightly more obscure.
; )
Love to all!
